I'm naturally cynical so I work hard to always find the good in the world. This tumblr is a collection of things that make me smile and inspire me. I hope that it can do the same for you! |
[image set: a three page comic in which a man running a “free books” stand gives a young girl a book with her name (Katherine) on the cover. When she opens the book, it contains the smell of warm grass and freezing air, as well as prairie flowers that remind her of her home town. Other parts of the book are blank and there are no words in it at all. She tells the book man she is now homesick, but conflicted because she does not know if she will ever return after finishing art school. The book man tells her to fill the blank spots by drawing things to convey her conflicted feelings. She loves the idea and tells her to go forward and “no more furrows, okay?” She starts to run off and the last panel is of her thanking the free book man.]
Thanks, Free Magic Book Man! *q*
KATHARINE THIS IS REALLY GOOD
DANG this is really great! It should have ten times this many notes.
I want to be a Free Magic Book Man when I grow up. ;A;
